Don't miss me too much

Leaving on holidays today. Will be back by the 11th Oct. I expect.
Upon my return I probably won't be blogging for some time.

Love to you all & take care.

Dear Hamlet,

Why did 1 + 1 = 2?
I sit here procrastinating.
Procrastinating.
Procrastinating.
I'll even write it again.
Nay, I shall spell it out.
Complete with hyphens.
*Ahem*
'n-dashes'
Yes n-dashes.
Just to prove my point.
P-R-O-C-R-A-S-T-I-N-A-T-I-N-G
Dash dash dash.
And then a few more.
And maybe I'll even write a long sentence that comes waaaaayyyy out here just to make the page look a little different. And look, a second sentence on the same line as the one above.
Now back to the routine.
Fragmented sentences.
With a whole line all to themselves.
Yes.
Now where was I?
Numbers.
So why does it have to be 1 and 1?
Sometimes I think 1 is nice on its own.
Whether it be the one

down here --> 1

But no.
After they're added, after 1, 2 must follow sometime after.
In most cases anyway.
Sometimes 1 is content to be just 1.
Add a few of these together and you have a few more digits.
3, 4, 5 & 6.
This is good.
Positive numbers are good.
And it is then very good that 1 & 1 equal 2.
Even better if the sum gets bigger.

Division and subtraction.
Such sums cause difficulty when 1 has become 2.
Because thennnn
You can get into negative numbers.
Negative numbers aren't so good.
(Hello cut on my thumb...where did you appear from?)
Because negative numbers can then affect all the other digits as well.
And it is difficult to sometimes even get back to 1 again.
Let alone the sum of 1 and 1.
It can get all tooooo confusinggggg!!

I think 1's do fine on their own.
They do well added to other digits too.
Even next to other digits.
But I think that 1 can be good
just
as
is.

"Leeeaaaave Britney Alooooone!"

No, I'm not about to swing into a big defense over Britney Spears - not at all! I don't really know much about what's going on with her, apart from the fact she shaved her head...nor do I really care. Celebrity goss = boring.
However, I think you'll find that this...errr...guy (hardly!) cares a great deal. And that's an understatement...apparently he'd kill himself if anything happened to her. Slightly disturbing perhaps?
Some people really ought to get out more.
That's only the first half...in the second vid he really loses the plot!
I was skeptical at first, wondering whether he's serious as he's apparently a professional entertainer, but he made it clear that he was serious...and after watching them there's no way he could have been putting it on.
Pretty funny.
(Warning: swearing inserted liberally)

2 weeks exactly until the convention =D

My Life Is Considered Busy When I Have 10 People Online And They All Want To Talk To me At Once

(Switchfoot are coming tomorrow...and I don't have anyway of going. Transport issues. =( Tis at a church or hall anyway...not a club. Which kinda sucks...probably not gonna be as good quality. And it's $45, which is bad considering the venue...so that sucks too. Are you getting the impression I'm trying to convince myself it's not worth it anyway? Because you would be right in thinking so. Lol. *Sigh*)

3 weeks (approx.) to go until this trip to Port Macquarie!
Am I excited?
Nyeaaa..errr..ahh...mmmm...eeaahh....
Mostly.
Haha well not much as yet.
No doubts I'll have a blast once it's here. A convention hasn't failed to be a major highlight of a year yet. I think it's been more the stresses that have come about with this particular one in its preparation.
It'll be awesome once it's here :)

Also have my mind on life after this holiday. Lots of plans.
07 has to be one of the laziest years I've ever encountered...and I most certainly don't want a repeat of it next year.
Don't get me wrong, it's been a good year all in all, particularly socially. I just wish I had done more with it. '07 has been a couchy year.
So, here's a list of short-term goals I have for the rest of the year, once I'm back from holidays:

  • Get a job
I really aim to knuckle down on this by the 10th of October. No real explanation really...I just need a job!! Not doing anything is *insert Johnny Depp's Willy Wonka voice* 'really starting to bum me out!' Haha. Nah but seriously. I want one by the Christmas holidays at the very least.

  • Get my L's
("Bout time!" says every person I've ever encountered) Also to get assessed for modifications and things that I'll need done to my car in order to be able to get on the road. I don't expect so much to be behind the wheel by the end of the year (though I hope!) but at least to have the yellow stickers and the assessment done. At least make movements towards getting on the road. Get to square 1.
  • House hunt
Cos it's time I "left the nest"...I think. This goal is a little more flexible compared to the others, but still pretty important. Penciled the deadline as mid-'08. Again, at least start looking for places.
  • Search for an amateur theatre company/acting agency
Ready to take classes by the beginning of the year. I think if I don't get back into it now, I never will... and acting is such a strong passion of mine. I can't imagine not getting back into it, and would certainly regret if I didn't. Therefore, I should do something about it! Lol.

There you have it. 4 goals, most of which I want completed by the end of the year.
Will you keep me accountable?
Please?
Argh...I have such a bad habit of being lazy...and saying all this stuff and then not doing anything about it. Annoying...so very annoying.
Time to break it.
Now.
As in now now.
So if you feel up to it, ask me how I'm doing with it all over the next few months. Encouragement is welcome also. Along with prayers. As I am liable to slip back into being a qualified couch potato I may need the occasional kick up the butt if I haven't done anything towards these plans for a while.
You have my permission.
=]

Be excellent to each other.
