My Life Is Considered Busy When I Have 10 People Online And They All Want To Talk To me At Once

(Switchfoot are coming tomorrow...and I don't have anyway of going. Transport issues. =( Tis at a church or hall anyway...not a club. Which kinda sucks...probably not gonna be as good quality. And it's $45, which is bad considering the venue...so that sucks too. Are you getting the impression I'm trying to convince myself it's not worth it anyway? Because you would be right in thinking so. Lol. *Sigh*)

3 weeks (approx.) to go until this trip to Port Macquarie!
Am I excited?
Nyeaaa..errr..ahh...mmmm...eeaahh....
Mostly.
Haha well not much as yet.
No doubts I'll have a blast once it's here. A convention hasn't failed to be a major highlight of a year yet. I think it's been more the stresses that have come about with this particular one in its preparation.
It'll be awesome once it's here :)

Also have my mind on life after this holiday. Lots of plans.
07 has to be one of the laziest years I've ever encountered...and I most certainly don't want a repeat of it next year.
Don't get me wrong, it's been a good year all in all, particularly socially. I just wish I had done more with it. '07 has been a couchy year.
So, here's a list of short-term goals I have for the rest of the year, once I'm back from holidays:

  • Get a job
I really aim to knuckle down on this by the 10th of October. No real explanation really...I just need a job!! Not doing anything is *insert Johnny Depp's Willy Wonka voice* 'really starting to bum me out!' Haha. Nah but seriously. I want one by the Christmas holidays at the very least.

  • Get my L's
("Bout time!" says every person I've ever encountered) Also to get assessed for modifications and things that I'll need done to my car in order to be able to get on the road. I don't expect so much to be behind the wheel by the end of the year (though I hope!) but at least to have the yellow stickers and the assessment done. At least make movements towards getting on the road. Get to square 1.
  • House hunt
Cos it's time I "left the nest"...I think. This goal is a little more flexible compared to the others, but still pretty important. Penciled the deadline as mid-'08. Again, at least start looking for places.
  • Search for an amateur theatre company/acting agency
Ready to take classes by the beginning of the year. I think if I don't get back into it now, I never will... and acting is such a strong passion of mine. I can't imagine not getting back into it, and would certainly regret if I didn't. Therefore, I should do something about it! Lol.

There you have it. 4 goals, most of which I want completed by the end of the year.
Will you keep me accountable?
Please?
Argh...I have such a bad habit of being lazy...and saying all this stuff and then not doing anything about it. Annoying...so very annoying.
Time to break it.
Now.
As in now now.
So if you feel up to it, ask me how I'm doing with it all over the next few months. Encouragement is welcome also. Along with prayers. As I am liable to slip back into being a qualified couch potato I may need the occasional kick up the butt if I haven't done anything towards these plans for a while.
You have my permission.
=]

Be excellent to each other.

Sarah on the road ?!?!?

Give me warning whenever you're driving and I'll make sure I don't go to that area :)

In all seriousness, though, it'll be good to see you more mobile. It'll make a huge difference, to be sure. It'll make it easier to get a job, for starters.

Port Mac ... yeesh ... flashbacks ...

I must look at writing down some goals for next year...or even the not too distant future. Can't think of any because I am old and have already achieved them...having you guys. Carly is looking at finding out about driving instructors specialising in disabilities as she wants to get her licence too....not that one IS ABOUT TIME!!!!

What clear and inspiring goals, Sarz! (About the job, if you want a copy of a networking module I use in Job Network training, give me a yell and I'll forward it to ya).

You'd be in Port Macquarie ... today?
